Turnkey contract for Plant Water System and Balance of Plant including a wastewater treatment plant as part of the expansion of the Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited power plant in Vizag, India.

Highlight being the downstream ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis systems, facilitates efficient water recycling. The reclaimed water is to be re-used as make-up water for cooling tower.

At the Visakhapatnam steelworks, secondary effluent from the municipal wastewater treatment plant is further treated by means of ultrafiltration followed by Reverse Osmosis. The purified water is reused as cooling water in the steelworks.
