Mr. Rajiv Mittal is the Chairman & Managing Director of VA TECH WABAG Limited, a pure play Water Technology Multinational headquartered in Chennai.
Through his professional career spanning over 3 decades, Mr Mittal has dedicated himself to the water industry with a special focus on sustainability. He has advocated sustainable use of water; leveraging alternative sources of water such as sea water & used water; efficient waste water treatment, water recovery and reclamation. He has also been very vocal in promoting advanced technologies for water treatment solutions for municipalities and industries at an affordable price and is a pioneer in building water neutral and power neutral plants both in India and abroad.
Mr Mittal started his career with Dorr Oliver and later worked with John Brown Engineering, Glasgow. He then joined WABAG, UK and was deputed to India to set up a Strategic Business Unit in Water in 1996. He led the management buyout of WABAG India in 2005, making it the first ever in corporate history in the water industry and later orchestrated the historic reverse acquisition of WABAG Group from Siemens in 2007. He followed it up with a successful listing on the bourses in 2010.
His vision and foresight have seen the company evolve from being an Indian subsidiary of a German entity to a true Indian multinational with a presence across four continents and more than 20 countries along with three R&D centres in Austria, India and Switzerland and over 100 patents.

Mr Mittal holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University Department of Chemical Technology (UDCT), Mumbai and is a Corporate Member of the International Water Association as well as Indian Desalination Association.
Ms. Vijaya Sampath has been a lawyer for over 35 years. Ms. Vijaya is an Independent Director on the Board of listed and unlisted companies in IT, manufacturing, branded luggage, power, pharmaceuticals and auto component sectors. Two of these companies (non- listed) are Japanese joint ventures with Larsen & Toubro. She is also the Ombudsperson for the Bharti Airtel group with oversight of the code of conduct and was its group general counsel and company secretary for over 10 years. She has been working both as in-house counsel for large Indian conglomerates and multinational companies and also been the corporate law partner in renowned national law firms, J Sagar Associates and a senior partner with Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan. Ms. Vijaya holds a graduate degree in English literature and law and is a fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. She has attended the Advanced Management Program in Harvard Business School and the Strategic Alliances Program conducted by the Wharton Business School. Ms. Vijaya is an advisor of the corporate law committee in FICCI and works with industry on regulation and policy relating to company law. She has written articles lectured/ been a speaker at various forums on women in professions, governance, ethics, law and practice.
Mr. Amit Goela has a distinguished profile in the Indian financial and securities market with over 30 years of experience. He was associated with several leading corporates houses on strategy planning and investments. He is associated with Rare Enterprises and heads the research and investment team at Rare Enterprises. Mr. Goela has been an advisor for various companies in the areas of macro-economics, equity research, both public and private markets, corporate restructuring, investments and arrangements including mergers and acquisitions, and advisory for stakeholder value creation. He is currently on the board of Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited, a leading commodity exchange in India. He is an MBA in finance from the University of North Florida and gains international experience.
Mr. Milin Mehta, is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is also a Law Graduate and has obtained a Master’s Degree in Commerce. He is a senior partner in K. C. Mehta & Co. Chartered Accountants (Baroda, Mumbai, Bangalore and Ahmedabad), for more than 3 decades.
Mr. Mehta has also served the Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants for making representation before the Central Board of Direct Taxes / Standing Committee of the Parliament on formation of new Direct Tax Code. Mr. Mehta was also a member of the Committee set up by the Central Board of Direct Taxes for framing “Tax Accounting Standards” which are renamed as “Income-tax Computation and Disclosure Standards”.
Presently he is a member of the Committee appointed by the Finance Minister under the CBDT for considering the MAT Impact on introduction of IndAS and also to notify further ICDS due to introduction of IndAS.
He has also co-authored a book on “Minimum Alternate Tax” published by the Bombay Chartered Accountants’ Society.
He is also active in social service and is Past President of the Baroda Lions Club Education Trust, which manages Baroda High Schools in the city of Baroda. He was a Government Nominated member of the Senate and Elected member of Syndicate of the prestigious M. S. University of Baroda.

Mr. Ranjit Singh has over 30 years of experience in Industrial Management in Indian, International and Multicultural business environment. His core strengths include Corporate Growth and Turnaround Strategy and its implementation. He worked as Managing Director, Kalpataru Power Transmission (an Infrastructure Company) and Global COO & Board member of Polyplex Corporation Limited (4th Largest Polyester Film manufacturer in World). As a transformational leader he was significantly responsible for globalization and profitable growth of the companies that he led. At present he is also a member of Board of Governors of IIM Jammu). He is based in Delhi and is deeply involved in the Start-up ecosystem and Strategy advisory space. He is also on the Board of other reputed Companies.
